This is a recipe I made with my mom growing up and just love it now… I have such a love affair with peanut butter and chocolate.
2 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
2 cups creamy peanut butter
1/2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup oatmeal
Mix all ingredients and spread in a 9″ square pan or 8″x11″pan.
1 cup chocolate chips
4 tbs butter
Spread over peanut butter mixture. Cut into squares and chill for at least one hour.
I published this recipe for Hot Chocolate from my friend Heather in 2010 but I figured it deserves a little repeat since it’s so amazingly delicious. It makes a bunch of the mix and you just put 1/2 a cup into your mug… I know that sounds like a lot but you just add water to it because it has powered milk and non-dairy creamer (it’s also a health food!).
1 21.8 container of powdered Nestle Quik
3 cups powdered milk
3 tbs powdered sugar
11 oz Cremora or another non-dairy creamer
Trust me… you won’t want to go back to your other hot chocolate! 🙂
