It’s funny how winter came in March this year… sort of like my freshman year of college when my girls and I were going to Florida for spring break and the most enormous storm came the day before we left causing us to freak out that our swimming and tanning was going to be delayed.
With the little container AJ will bring food to the chickens in. Yes, it’s a Dunkin Donuts cup.
I love love love the way the trees look behind AJ’s head in this photo.
One of them pecked him right after this and he just about lost his mind…
and then became fine 10 seconds later.
He loves giving the chickens water… but sometimes I don’t think he realizes that he’s a good foot away from their water dish when he tries to lift up the watering can. This photo is from last week on a nearly 50 degree day… how does the weather change so drastically when WE NEED SPRING?
Different topic. The new Pottery Barn catalog came and it’s got EASTER all over it, if that doesn’t say spring I don’t know what does (not Pottery Barn, I mean Easter). Some of my favorite inspiration pics from the catalog:

Would this not be the cutest housewarming or hostess gift? Just fill a great basket with a cutting board, wine, cheeses and fruit. Love it.

Can you see the tray on the table wrapped with rope? That gives me such a good idea for a nautical tablescape…

Drew was sleeping in the car yesterday so I diddled around on Overstock.com trying to find deals and found these two gorgeous things that I unfortunately didn’t buy: a rug for our living room (much larger than the one that is there now) and the chair for our bedroom, but really, I’d buy one chair for every room I love it so much. Aren’t they great?

The Colin Club Chair from here.
This rug from here… I think it’s nice to have a bit of a bright color in it…

Do you have your eye on anything new for spring?
Or has your little guy been playing out with your chickens? 🙂
HAPPY WEEKEND, EVERYONE!
My sister has chickens, so my little ones have been out playing with them and bringing back the eggs. It’s just so cute.
It is amazing how much kids seem to love them… And your dining room turned out amazingly!
my little son have been out experiencing with them and coming back the egg. It’s just so lovely.
