I couldn’t believe it when last week Young House Love posted about spray painting a Little Tikes basketball hoop in oil-rubbed bronze because I’d been planning to do the same thing to this little picnic table we picked up on the side of the road from a daycare that went out of business in town.
After a can and a half of oil-rubbed bronze it looked less like an eyesore on our patio (and a smidge more like something you’d find in a park :))
See how it blends in a little better to our patio furniture?
Drew is in love with it, paint job or no paint job. He loves that it’s his size. Every day since we got it we will either have a snack or a meal out there… he tells me which side I need to sit on. 🙂
You can still notice the little marks on the top of the table but it’s a lot less conspicuous now.
Anyone else spray painted some Little Tikes primary colored toys lately?
On a different note, I had the honor of taking photos of Charlie, my friend Danielle’s baby today. Here is one of my faves. I am by no mean a professional but it was fun to fool around with the camera and different props.
Okay, before you leave Migonis Home for today, check out the “stationary” tab above… it’s brand spanking new stuff… plus some classics I brought back. THEN head over to Country Living and vote to Migonis Home here… it’ll take you 10 whopping seconds. 🙂
Great job on the picnic table! And, nope, it doesn’t take a whole whopping 10 seconds to go over and vote, more like a whole whopping 3 seconds, lol!
I just voted, and it took 8 seconds (I counted). I have been doing it every day, though, so I may be faster than the average bear. I hope you win!
you both are so great! thank you for voting!!!
