You know I love a good event. You know the kind where everywhere you turn there is something charming to look at… this wedding, designed by creative forces behind Swank (the store I adore in Hamilton, NY), is exactly the kind of wedding I love. And don’t tell me you would love to be at the amazing tented reception you’ll see here.
Guests at the wedding were greeted both in English and Portuguese (the groom is Brazilian), while they found their table numbers on a set of French doors that were lettered by the bride’s cousin. Each table number had a fun fact about the bride and groom printed on it so guests could get to know the couple better.
For the guest book at yesterday’s festivities, wedding guests wrote a message to the bride and groom on luggage tags, which were tucked into the pocket of a vintage suitcase.
Here is a shot of the tented reception… have you ever seen a clear tent used? I hadn’t but love how much more you notice the fabric stretching the width of the tent.
This is a shot of the bar area which was located in the barn. I adore those gold frames.
Guests used paper straws to drink the mini bottles of champagne.

I am in love with the drink station in the bed of this antique Ford pick up truck:
The Tapas station was done beautifully with the barrels and the sign:
