I love love love going to weddings. We went to AJ’s cousin’s wedding this weekend in upstate New York and is was fun to see what rustic charm the family created. Candy, AJ’s aunt, came up with this structure for her son and his wife to get married under. If I wasn’t in the back of the ceremony area with a wiggly talkative baby I would have taken some fabulous shots so you could see the ceremony actually happening here but it was the perfect height and background for the ceremony.
This view shows the interesting door set-up that was at the back of the ceremony area. The wedding part walked through here and it did a good job of creating a defining area for where the aisle started and ended.
The wedding was held at the bride’s family’s house and in addition to rented chairs they also had hay bales for seating.
I loved this sign by the doors:
Look at this adorable sink that was rented for the event since there needed to be outhouses (there were 175 people at the wedding):
Drew stayed home with my parents so it was just the three of us: AJ, myself and the girl who puts everything possible into her mouth.
Hope you had a great weekend! 🙂
