Classy fire hydrant out there, huh? 🙂
Trim was placed all around the bottom of the porch and around the base of the pillars.
Then a few pieces of new clapboard were added right above the roof line. The old clapboard had been torn off there during the demo of the previous porch.
It’s amazing how long a few steps will take because of all the work that goes into each step that I never would have though of… I feel like I’m learning a lot just by watching the builders.
And it’s so cute to see little shoes out there drying off. 🙂
On a different note, what are you doing these last few days before Christmas? I wrapped stocking stuffers and most of my gifts today. It’s nice to have not many to wrap… we are doing a different kind of gift for a few people this year that doesn’t require wrapping but I’ll give all the fun details of that later. And it’s definitely cut down on things to wrap since AJ and I agreed to not give each other gifts this year and instead do something for the house.
