We are in Hamilton, New York with AJ’s family for Christmas. One rainy morning I ran through the streets by Colgate University, AJ’s alma mater, and just loved all the different style houses. Each one is so charming in their own way. Before I show you the houses let me show you the entryway to one of my favorite places in town, the Colgate Inn, I love the stone and the doors…
All right… which one of these houses is your favorite?

I like houses #4 and #7, even though it is in dire need of dormers. 🙂

I think I know ALL those houses, but of them, 5 is my fav. I think my REAL favorite though, is 38 Maple Ave. If you’re still in Hamilton, go check it out. That little house has quite an interesting history!

Number 1 is my favorite. If you go back in the summer or fall can we have more pictures?

I like house 4 – I love the texture of the shingle siding. Number 7 is my second choice although I’m not sure it would be without the wreaths.
House 4…I love the asymmetrical yet balanced design.
I like them all but I love #3 – I see there are 2 fireplaces and that’s what got me!
1, 2 & 5….a 3 way tie!
I’m voting for #6 because I’m sure there’s an awesome patio in the back of the house!
