Welcome to our Cocoa and Cookies Party.
The party that was total and complete chaos.
And it was perfect.
The kids pretended our downstairs was a track and ran and ran and ran.
There were about eight of them in our tiny house.
We had at one point five kids jumping on Drew’s bed at once and two parents were hovering making sure no one was going to crash down.
All cookies were from a fabulous cookie exchange party I went to last night… they were amazing. And I loved offering a bunch of different choices without losing my mind baking all day.
Each kid went home with the tiniest little container filled with M&Ms.
The snowflakes hanging from the ceiling were another find from the Dollar Store and went perfectly with our snowflake theme.
I made a marshmallow garland while the kids ate their lunch.
With an upholstery needle. 🙂
Here’s how you do it: thread your upholstery needle with white string. Slowly push through the middle of the marshmallow so you don’t break the marshmallow and push the marshmallow to the end of the string. Then you’re done. Easy peasy, right?
