I see two perfect ways to decorate for this weird in between month. One, with paper whites (I love those flowers!). Two, with snowflakes. Here’s to the latter:
I’ve been wanting to add some Tiffany blue into Elle’s bedroom and, while feeding her in the middle of the night, was thinking that it would be fun to buy some super clearance Christmas garland and paint it. So this afternoon, right after feeling like I was going to go crazy with the Terrible Threes, AJ sent me to a happy place (no, not to an all you can eat chocolate bar) but to Lowe’s where I came out with eight of those snowflakes for 25 cents each. This is what happened with the snowflakes, hot glue, a pair of scissors and some paint (which wasn’t quite Tiffany blue):
Steps to a super easy Snowflake Garland:
1. Cut half of your snowflakes in half. They were so thin I just used regular scissors.
2. Hot glue it to one of the whole snowflakes.
4. Hot glue it to a ribbon of your choice.
There you go, easy peasy! 🙂
As always my co-hosts came up with something fabulous…
