It feels like summer is over. AJ is officially back in the school, I’m crunching over leaves when I run and Drew has pre-school orientation in a few days. So tonight I’m hosting a fall dinner for friends in honor of AJ and Warren both returning to their teaching jobs for another fall. And it’s going to be 85 degrees. 🙂
This week I’ve been happily collecting armfuls of hydrangeas at my parents’ house and decorating with them. Few things make me happier than simple bouquets of flowers placed around the house… especially when I didn’t spend a dime for them. If you follow me on Instagram you’ve already seen how I stuffed this gorgeous bag full of them to bring them in the house!
Let me introduce you to some great finds via the Enchanting Inspiration party last week.
Recipe
Simply Suzanne’s does it again… I love how incredibly easy this spaghetti and pecorino recipe  is. I think I’m going to make it is this coming weekend…
DIY / Crafts
Upcycled Treasures saw a rug she loved at West Elm, but didn’t love the price. Hello, new painted rug! Click here to see here tutorial on how she took matters into her own hands and whipped  up this baby.
Decorating
Little Bits of Home has a tiny entryway spot… pop on over to her blog and see how she maximized her space beautifully.
And now for my co-host, Nina… she had a guest post from More Chocolate post this week on how to make these Strawberry Cheesecake Bites. Wouldn’t these be perfect for a party?
