We got back very late on Monday night from my sister-in-law’s wedding reception in New York and while you are reading this post I’m probably feverishly editing photos to share with you the gorgeousness on Thursday. It was one of the most perfect receptions I’ve ever been to. Here’s a sneak peek. 🙂
This week I’ve got some good reading and ideas for you from my co-host Nina at Everyday Enchanting and from the talented ladies I’m highlighting this week. Nina gave some great ideas for adding character to a blank slate kitchen in THIS POST. If you haven’t seen her kitchen redone you’ve got to check it out.
Simply Suzanne’s shares a recipe for Chewy Sugar Cookies that she found off of Cook’s Illustrated. I’ve never had anything from Cook’s Illustrated that wasn’t dynamite… I’m so excited to try this recipe since I haven’t been overly impressed with any other sugar cookie before. And isn’t her photography charming here?
Today I’m featuring two from this category. I adore the makeover and vision Seeking Lavender Lane had for an old hutch and love the finish she achieved on her new piece.
The Refined Relic gained some great looking storage with this makeover! I love how she used fabulous color while filling her shelves!
