Before you read and judge me for the awful photos: everything was taken with my phone. My camera just broke and won’t focus.
About a month ago I was sent four items from Danielle at Finding Silver Pennies. She found these items at a thrift store and my job was to make them over or show how to use them as is but in a way that people wouldn’t guess they were from a thrift store. Instantly I fell in love with the little urn Danielle sent so of course I had to give it a place of honor holding my all-time favorite Easter treat: Cadbury Mini Eggs.
The runner is so cute but not something I’d use in normal decorating but Easter is Elle’s second birthday so I figured I would do something to make the table a little more girly. The little arrangement is made up of twigs, tulips and daffodils.
I was almost done taking photos when my little mini-me jumped up onto one of the chairs and started throwing the eggs everywhere.
My go-to way to decorate for spring involves moss, eggs and fresh flowers. It’s nothing new or innovative but every year it feels so cheery after heavier winter decorations.
Come see what the fabulous ladies who are also a part of this swap are sharing… make sure you check out Bee from Windgate Lane and see what she did to the items I sent her.
