Last year we were scrambling big time to complete Drew’s Valentine’s Day cards for his classmates. I hated that feeling of rushing and pushing him to finish his cards so this year I started very early and simply made two options that reflected him (he’s a little artist). There is a boy in his class who primarily eats a raw diet so I knew I needed something that wasn’t sweet for him so the artist Valentines were born and you luck out with a FREE VALENTINE PRINTABLE CARD!
I was inspired by an idea on the DIY Network but then put my own design on it by using Canva. Target Dollar Spot had some $1 paints but honestly, I had a hard time finding them anywhere for $1 when I bought out the supply at Target (even my Dollar Tree didn’t have them!) so I made a new design for colored pencils. Target has 12-packs for 74 cents, I took the pencils out of the pack and wrapped with fabric tape also found at Target’s Dollar Spot.
DOWNLOAD HERE (paint) AND HERE (colored pencils). There are two cards are 5×7 paper. This will keep them at the perfect size for the watercolor packs! I hope this keeps your Valentine’s fairly easy… and I hope your kids love giving these out!
I’ve partnered with two of my friends for two other free Valentine printable cards that you can download:
