Our half bath renovation is coming together and I’m thrilled with how it’s turning out! I’ve painted the walls Sea Salt by Sherwin-Williams and painted all the wainscoting Behr’s Ultra Pure White. It looks quite different from last time I shared the space, doesn’t it?
The sink will be mounted where the paneling drops above the pipes.
I’m still trying to figure out how to photograph this space. There isn’t a drop of natural light in here…
If you follow on Instagram you may have seen this photo that I posted last Sunday after our tile for the floors arrived right in the middle of Drew’s birthday party with ten little school friends running rampant over our home. While I was feverishly getting ready for church the next day AJ was laying out the tile in the bathroom to confirm that we’d ordered enough (we did) and to double check that we like it (we love it).
The jury is still out of the paint color. We’ll live with it for a month after we get the bathroom put back together… you may see me painting it gray instead. 🙂 I love the color but can’t decide if it’s too “beach cottage” with the dressier wainscoting so we’ll make our decision once we see it all put back together. AJ’s initial reaction was that it looked like toothpaste. Fantastic. Just what I was going for. 🙂
AJ’s mom and sister will be here with us on Tuesday so our goal is to get the floor and at least the toilet in there by then. Fingers crossed! I’m hoping to have an update this weekend at some point for you. As always, I’m so glad to have you following along, Friends!
