The other night we had Life Group with some people from our church (basically it’s a mix between social hour and discussing that week’s sermon / Bible Study). I was in charge of the snack and brought Swedish Brownies. It’s a recipe my mom made when I was growing up and it’s delicious. I’m in love with almond extract which is a key flavor in these brownies. You’ve got to try them if you are looking for a delicious and a little unique treat to bring out to a get together.
I included some of my favorite items from our kitchen that I own and use on a regular basis… I’m in the kitchen all the time so many of these items make it more pleasurable and beautiful! They would also make a great hostess gift, except for the Kitchen Aid Mixer… that’s probably too expensive for a gift for a neighbor. 😉
ONE: These pot holders are the best I have ever used (I own them in navy and navy stripe).
TWO: I’m planning on ordering this tube pan (I loaned mine out and haven’t gotten it back). It’s by Cuisinart and I’ve loved anything I’ve purchased from them.
THREE: We got a set of these dish towels for our wedding almost nine years ago and some of them are still going strong. They are sturdy and come in good colors.
FOUR: This candle is sitting on our kitchen counter now, it’s one of the best scents I’ve ever had!
FIVE: This whisk is the best I’ve owned. It’s so sturdy and affordable!
SIX: I got this Kitchen Aid Mixer, the most basic model, even before I met AJ and it’s still going on strong. I use it for everything I bake!
EIGHT: One of Kate Spade’s gorgeous aprons are definitely on my wish list!
Let’s do a fun giveaway of the items below!
