This gorgeous magnolia garland is from Balsam Hill. All opinions are my own despite having received this garland in exchange for a post… I reached out to them to partner because I love their products that much. They are not only gorgeous looking but incredibly well made.
A few years ago we partnered with Balsam Hill on that gorgeous tree you see in the background. Their trees are without a doubt the most gorgeous ones I have ever seen and I’m in awe at how it’s held up so beautifully for now three years. Because I’ve been so impressed with anything I’ve received from them (tree, ornaments, ornament case on wheels, faux pumpkins) I wrote them to partner with them on a garland. Some of the ones you see at places like Michaels or AC Moore are nice but Balsam Hill hits it out of the park with realism and quality in a way that I’ve found other retailers can’t even compare.
I found we can’t do live garland in our house because it dries up in literally in two or three days and have discovered a really good faux garland makes for less mess and frustration all season long. I wanted to do something a little different than I have in years past and decided on the magnolia garland because I think it looks so luxe and classy. I got the two pack so I could double it up around the post for added thickness.
This year I tied our stockings and garland on with zip ties (you can get them at a hardware store) and not only was it so much easier than using ribbons like I did last year but they are not going anywhere… I don’t have to worry a bit about anyone pulling them down. I then tried to manipulate the leaves to cover the zip ties, it was a little tricky because there isn’t wire in each leaf but it looks pretty good.
Long story short, I don’t think you’ll ever regret anything you purchase from Balsam Hill even if you are paying a little more than you would at another retailer.

I enjoy your blog buts this one rankled me . You and many other talented and gifted bloggers attract companies that willingly
donate monetary items to your homes, but do you and others not realize how off putting this can be to readers that can
not afford to spend one tenth of their income on what you receive free.
I think your comments are pretty harsh Lea, obviously Jen has reached out and was willing to contact the supplier. That takes an effort on her part and she was rewarded. How about you, are you willing to do the work.
