My cousin, Lauren, is furloughed from her job during this pandemic and because of that has turned into what seems a full time baker. It’s been fun watching her new daily creations on Instagram (if you’ve been following this blog for any amount of time you know I love to bake so it’s especially fun to see her make things I’ve eaten at her house!). She took a Corona Cruise with my aunt up to our house and dropped off a bag of goodies for us. Inside were some No Bake Cookies. I find them so addictive that I was hoping the kids wouldn’t choose to eat those!
These cookies will take you under 10 minutes to pull together but then they will need to cool for about an hour in the fridge so unfortunately these aren’t to satisfy an instant craving.
Elle Belle wanted to help set up our photo shoot… and eat the cookies.

Holy Moly, no wonder they are good, lots of sugar oats and peanut butter. Good right out of the pan. Brush teeth often..XOX
I have been making these for many years and we call them DREAMIES however, I add shreaded coconut to them, they are the bomb!!! I first had these in the 1970’s served on Friday’s in my middle school cafeteria in South Lake Tahoe, CA where I grew up. I was so happy when I found the recipe a few years later.
I love this..our WONDER DROPS recipe! We boiled in a heavy cast aluminum pan for 1 minute add the stick of butter, and when that melted add oatmeal , peanut butter, vanilla. I was the oldest of eight and had 6 younger brothers, all a year apart that would eat the whole batch before they even cooled! Great memories!
